Jennifer Silverman graduated from Michigan State University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Science. After graduating, she attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she participated in the Civil Advocacy Clinic, representing clients in a variety of civil matters, including breach of contract and landlord/tenant matters. After receiving her Juris Doctor, she worked as a personal injury and workers’ compensation attorney.
Jennifer has spent the last several years concentrating her practice on Maryland family law. Prior to joining Joehl Law, Jennifer was an associate attorney at a boutique family litigation firm in downtown Silver Spring. Her work there consisted almost entirely of divorces (including high-conflict matters), child custody disputes, and child support matters.
Jennifer approaches every custody, divorce, and child support case with an immense amount of detail and compassion. She enjoys advocating for her clients and is committed to effective, results-oriented representation. She is also a certified mediator and is experienced in alternative dispute resolution, which assists in her problem solving approach to help her clients plan for their future. Her dedication and sensitivity make her an essential member of the team at Joehl Law.
